One World Healthcare USA, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to the provision of medical and non-medical volunteer personnel to groups that conduct medical missions in developing countries especially in Africa.
Every community and the indigenes should have access to adequate and affordable medical care. Access to adequate health care is, however, not possible in so many regions of the world today, especially in third world nations. Reasonable attempts to solve the problem can be made if corporations, groups and individuals from the more developed nations can assist in the creation of an environment where volunteers and the spirit of volunteerism are abundant and meaningful.
The volunteer programs can be in the form of medical missions, health awareness visits, public health research and shipment of needed medical equipment and supplies. These well intentioned assistance programs should, however, be directed and targeted, based on need, with appropriate manpower in order to achieve the laudable goals.
We, at One World Healthcare USA, Inc. hope that by providing the personnel for these volunteer groups we can assist in bridging some of the inefficiency gaps created by personnel shortage during the missions.
